American Association of Respiration Care (AARC) hosts their annual International Respiratory Congress this year at the OrlandoWorld Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.  In addition, AARC is celebrating its 60th birthday this year at the "gold standard" of respiratory care meetings.

ICON will be present at the Draeger Medical booth where they will display the 1907 Pulmotor alongside their newest EvitaXL ventilator in celebration of the company's 100 Years in ventilation.  The Pulmotor is the first-ever mobileshort-term respirator patented in 1907 by Heinrich Draeger.  In addition, Draeger will host a series of lectures at their booth including several by clinicians from Intensive Care On-line Network (ICON).

Through ICON's two-way video conferencing technology, attendees willhave the opportunity to listen to lectures and interact with the presenters while receiving AARC approved ContinuingRespiratory Care Education credit for attending the ICON lectures. ICON will also present IISIS to display with the Evita XL ventilation.  IISIS is a powerful browser-based application capable of displaying ventilator settings, measurements and alarms accessible from anywhere via intranet or internet. 

ICON has been supporting Draeger Evita Series customers since 2001, uniting knowledge with technology.  Through a live critical care resource center, customers can call 24x7 to assist with troubleshooting alarms, obtain information on features and enhancements of the Evita ventilator and discuss the latest topics in ICU and respiratory care.
