ICON participated in the 2007 American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Renal Week. More than 13,000 nephrologists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers gathered in San Francisco, CA for the conference. ICON, together with corporate partner Gambro, demonstrated innovative technologies and solutions for advancing continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in the ICU while promoting clinician education.
ICON showcased IISIS, a browser-based software that allows healthcare providers to access real-time patient and CRRT machine data from remote locations. IISIS provides central and remote monitoring of device data where multiple clinicians are able to simultaneously view the same patient’s data increasing collaboration in the care of critically ill patients.
